Cancel a pending upload

/api/v1/uploads/{id}

Release an unused preparation when an application is withdrawn or you no longer intend to upload its resume.

Before you call

Use the reportId from preparation. Only unadmitted preparations can be cancelled. No JSON body or Idempotency-Key is needed.

Required scope: analyses:write.

What happens next

A 204 has no response body. The pending preparation no longer consumes preparation capacity; this does not cancel an accepted analysis.

Recovery

Cancellation is safe to repeat for an absent preparation. A conflict means analysis has already been admitted; inspect report status.
